Today I thought I would give the treadmill a try. Just a little try, so it was only about 5 min. I've never really ever used the treadmill for my cardio workouts. My back isn't very partial to the pounding impact a treadmill gives. It didn't feel too bad though, and maybe next time I'll try 6 min. We'll see how I feel tomorrow.
I used the rest of my time at the gym to get a full HIIT workout on my wonderful ArcTrainer. I was pretty dead after the session today. It's amazing what that extra 5 min. on the treadmill took out of me.
Anyway, here's today's pics.
Day 61
Get your game face on!

Hey, just stopping by to say hi! I dont' know if I already told you this, but you have a really cool name. I thought it was just your screen name, but it's your real name? That's so cool it's like a video game name. Anyway, your pics look great, keep up the good work, and see you with us on the next shred, right? Talk to you soon!

Raiden,
Nice job - your pics look great! How do you get them to post side-by-side? I'm able to do it if I go thru all the steps on Photoshop that Adam discussed. But your pics look like they are simply uploaded to blogger.
Keep up the good work!

thanks for stopping by! Yes, my name has made several appearances in video games throughout the ages. I do look forward to joining in on the next shred. I think the timing will work out perfectly!

thanks for stopping by as well. You've got some good looking pics yourself!
To get my pics side by side, I just resize them first to make them 200 pixels wide before I upload them to blogger. I think the width of the blog entry space is about 420 pixels, so this makes 2 pics x 200 pixels wide a nice fit. I also use the "none" option for layout. Once they're uploaded, I then edit the post in html mode.
Here's the only semi-tricky part. I fish out the part of the code that starts with
"<a onblur=..." and ends with </a>
The code for each pic is contained with that whole statement. If I want two pics side by side, I just make a backspace so that the two consecutive pics that have code that looks like:
"<a onblur=...></a >
<a onblur=..."
end up looking like:
"<a onblur=...></a ><a onblur=..."
Basically, as long as there is no space between the "</a >" and the "<a onblur=...", then they will be side by side just like letters in a word, rather than being like two long words with a space in between them.
If I confused you, it may be easier to just keep doing what you do in Photoshop, but I personally find it easier to do it this way since I can just do this in iPhoto (on a Mac) rather than fire up something like Photoshop since all I need to do is crop and resize rather than create a new image, resize, paste pieces onto a new image, resize new image, etc. Ok, so it's not really that many extra steps, but I like to keep it simple.
Thanks Raiden! I got the pictures side-by-side. Now I can cut out the Photoshop steps! :D
